What would happen if Health Care operated like a Fast Food chain?

I was talking with a friend last week during a seminar and he mentioned to the group we were working with an article entitled Big Med.  I went and read the article and it gave a startling contrast between how a successful restaurant like Cheesecake Factory is run in comparison to how a healthcare system is run.

As we venture down the path to more standardized healthcare, for better or worse, this article will give you a glimpse of how this might have some positive ramifications.

Time will tell.
