What to look for in 2020
Sitting here in January 2020 has allowed me some time to reflect on where I have been, what I have learned and where I want to go in the years I hopefully have in front of me. Only the Lord knows for sure how long I have, but I’ll do my best to make a difference every day.
Turning 60 in 2019 really got me to start reflecting on how fast the days go by. While the past year was one of great success and personal gratification, especially due to the birth of our first grandchild, Teddy, a grandson, it was also a sorrowful one with the loss of my spiritual mentor, Sue Lovett, my mother in law. I had the opportunity to learn much from Sue during our almost forty years together.
2020 will be a year of change with my business. Here are a few things to look for:
- Our branding will change in 2020. More on that, but the new brand will better incorporate the full breadth of the services we now offer.
- Talent Acquisition-Executive Search will always be a key component of our work, but our peer group work through Vistage will continue to grow as I build out my first CE group and add a Key group later in 2020.
- Exit Planning through Navix Consultants will become a growing part of the work we provide to business owners. I first started to grasp the immense need in this area with my search practice. This need became much more apparent through my work with Vistage.
- Spending time with my family will become more of a focus in the new year. Having a grandson is a great opportunity and I pray that more grandchildren will follow in the years ahead. Soon, both of our sons and their families will be in the Greater Nashville area and for this we are thankful.
Stay tuned as we roll out the rebranding of Ryan Search and Consulting. Donna Corlew of C*Connect has been a trusted partner in this venture and we still have work to do.
Our focus moving forward will be to do the following:
“Aid Business Owners as the Grow, Develop, Transition and Exit”
